The pressures of show business can often get the better of Hollywood celebrities who take to drugs in order to get away from them. But while some continue their habits unchecked, some seek rehabilitation and come out stronger. Here’s a list of 15 celebs who have gone to rehab to sober up.
In 2017, Ben himself admitted that he had done a rehab stint for alcohol addiction. Prior to that, in 2001, the ‘Batman vs Superman’ actor had done another stint for alcohol abuse.
Back in 2014, the singer, songwriter and actress had checked herself into rehab voluntarily, but not for substance or alcohol abuse. Then in 2015, she was diagnosed with lupus, and again checked herself into rehab for chemotherapy.
Known for her song ‘Rehab,’ British singer Amy Winehouse had entered rehab at least twice for drug use prior to her unfortunate death in 2011, which happened due to alcohol poisoning.
Back in 2004, the Full House star had gone into rehab herself in order to treat her anorexia. This stint was apparently prompted by an intervention by her family.
In 2007, Spears stayed at an Antiguan rehab facility for less than a day, before coming out and shaving her head. In the following weeks, she admitted herself to other rehab centres.
